Huddersfield-based manufacturers install specialist leak detection systems in famous London skyline buildings.

10/03/2016

Award-winning manufacturing company, Andel, recently installed its ‘Floodline Leak Detection Systems’ in the Shard in London - completing a year of success in the capital which has also seen their equipment installed in the Houses of Parliament, the O2, the ‘Walkie Talkie’ building and Canary Wharf.

The completion of Andel’s work on such notable and historic buildings comes as a global report announces the USA is set to dominate water pipeline leak detection market through to 2020.

The award-winning UK company which installs its equipment in buildings to allow early action to prevent damage, reduce disruption and limit loss, is however bucking the trend.

Over the last 12 months Andel has seen an upsurge in demand and now their Floodline water and refrigerant gas leak detection systems are in just about every noteworthy building in London.

Commercial Director, Mark Harris, said: ‘We are extremely proud that so many vital institutions and iconic buildings have turned to us to help them.

‘It’s thrilling to looking at the famous London skyline silhouette and know that we are helping to protect it.

‘The Houses of Parliament, the O2, the ‘Walkie Talkie’ building, Canary Wharf and now the Shard- the list just goes on and on.

‘The only iconic place without it is the London Eye, but then it is hard to see why they would need what we make!

‘Clearly everywhere else does.’
